KUALA LUMPUR: Proton has launched a limited edition Preve in conjunction with the start of a new contest “Pandu & Menang” that offers the car as the grand prize.

The Prevé LE has a limited production run of only 100 units and is only available in solid white.

At the same time, Proton also unveiled a new colour for the existing Prevé called Soft Lilac.

Targeted at women buyers, the new colour option is available with immediate effect.

The “Pandu & Menang” contest, which begins today, will run for 60 days and ends on Dec 17.

Winners stand the chance to win daily and weekly prizes which include a 42" LED TV, electrical gadgets and cash prizes throughout the duration of the contest.

Prizes are worth more than RM400,000 in total.

The grand prize winner selected at the end of the contest will win the Prevé LE.

The contest was held to create excitement and improve Proton's visibility, said Proton deputy chief executive officer Datuk Lukman Ibrahim.

Malaysians and permanent residents of the country with a valid IC or passport and drivers licence are eligible to participate in the “Pandu & Menang” contest.

To enter, head over to a Proton showroom to test drive any Proton model and fill in the test drive form.

The contest is divided into two sections: one via SMS, where participants will need to answer two questions correctly and respond in the fastest time to win the daily prizes.

In the other section of the contest, participants must take a creative picture with the test-driven Proton car and upload it on Facebook for a chance to win the weekly prizes.

However, only the SMS contest participants who places a booking and registers his or her car within the contest period will be eligible to win the grand prize.
