KUALA LUMPUR: The state governments of Kedah and Perak have each received a fleet of Proton Perdanas, in support of the national carmaker’s turnaround plan.

Receiving the vehicles at the respective state government offices were Chief Minister of Kedah Datuk Paduka Mukhriz Bin Tun Dr. Mahathir and Chief Minister of Perak Datuk Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir from DRB-HICOM Berhad while representatives from PROTON Holdings Berhad representatives looked on.

Prior to the handing over of the fleets, the new Perdana was also presented to the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.

Proton expressed its appreciation shown by the Prime Minister and the Malaysian Government for the opportunity to be the official provider of vehicles for the Government.
